Evergrip were tasked to carry out a refurbishment of a pedestrian bridge above a trunk road, Yorkshire.
Replacement of stolen metal In-fill panels with nil-scrap value GRP equivalents.
Following the repeated theft of existing galvanized steel In-fill side panels on a footbridge spanning a busy trunk road, we were asked to supply and install 6mm thick fibreglass alternatives.
These panels provide a maintenance free, attractively finished replacement with most importantly, zero scrap value to dissuade potential thieves. They are manufactured to order with realistic lead times and a wide variety of colours and finishes available.
The project was quickly & easily implemented using blind rivet fasteners to secure the new panels. Measurement & off site fabrication meant the installation was completed inside one day.
