SummaryWe were approached by the client, a civil engineering company with designs for gates, fencing structures, footbridge walkway surfacing & void covers to be installed along a stretch of waterfront in Nottingham as part of a larger regeneration project.
The client was keen to fabricate from alternative materials to steel to enhance the environmental credentials of the project. On completion, the works were recognised and awarded ‘Very Good’ status by CEEQUAL, the evidence-based Sustainability Assessment and Awards Scheme for civil engineering, infrastructure, landscaping and the public realm.
Profiles were specially manufactured in the specified colours, with partial assembly of the gate/fence structures being carried out at our factory before shipping to site for fitting. Walkway panels were also fabricated off site & craned into position for final fitting.
The duration of the works was approximately 3 weeks. The waterside location necessitated comprehensive planning with particular emphasis placed on the risk assessment and working procedures in this environment. All works were completed safely.

Collections of orders from our workshops are possible, by prior arrangement only please and visitors are reminded to observe the standard 2m distancing rules, for the safety of all.
