SummaryWe were contacted to measure up existing wooden staircases and walkway structures surrounding a series of cooling towers at the facility. The client was looking to create designated walkways in addition to providing an anti-slip surface.
1.5mm thick low profile fibreglass backed Anti-slip sheeting with highlighted yellow edges were selected for the walkways, whilst our GRP Anti-slip stair tread covers were used on the staircases.
A designated RAL colour was requested to keep the product in keeping with a corporate image and hence all products were selected from our bespoke range.
To minimise the possibility of disruption, the work was carried out in stages over the course of several weeks in the summer and autumn seasons. The work started with the installation of the staircases in May and culminated with the fitting of the roof top walkways in October.

Collections of orders from our workshops are possible, by prior arrangement only please and visitors are reminded to observe the standard 2m distancing rules, for the safety of all.
