SummaryWe were approached by the client, a County Council for an alternative to replace wooden maintenance ladders on a historic road bridge. The river beneath is tidal at this point, with the ladders and bridge substructure regularly submerged in water. Over time this had begun to weaken the existing provisions for access and so a material less susceptible to this action was selected to provide a longer lifespan for the replacements.
With Evergrip GRP gratings already successfully in service for many years on this structure, GRP was a natural choice.
The standard grey finish of the profile components matches perfectly with the existing metal structure. On-site measurement & prefabrication in our factory allowed for a swift installation process.

Collections of orders from our workshops are possible, by prior arrangement only please and visitors are reminded to observe the standard 2m distancing rules, for the safety of all.
