We offer bespoke-made glass fibre (GRP) track pans for use in controlled emission toilet (CET) apron installations.
The modular design was developed in cooperation with Network Rail and C Spencer Ltd to effectively capture any accidental release of effluent at CET train connection points. They are now in live use. They assist train care facility duty-holders in complying with environmental & water regulations, by preventing liquid waste ingress into track ballast or surrounding areas, during toilet emptying operations.
Standards – In England and Wales the accidental or avoidable discharge of contaminated waste water or raw sewage effluent to ground poses a serious hazard to the environment and breaches regulations set out in the Water Resources Act (1991), the Water Industries Act (1991) and the Environment Act (1995). Health & Safety regulations may also apply and may attract large fines.
The use of a fibreglass design has significant advantages.
Evergrip are also suppliers of GRP gratings and handrail systems for apron walkways and any general safe access requirements.
