Safe access for maintenance crews where an embankment is present creates practical difficulties where no stairway exists, or end of life wooden/steel structures are in place. GRP embankment staircases are a lightweight and durable solution which offer reduced installation times and remove the need for expensive heavy plant equipment in difficult to access areas.

The custom built GRP embankment staircases are built from glass fibre composite materials. Personnel can utilise the completed staircase to gain safe passage over uneven ground at railway trackside or river bank locations. Gated and fenced options are also available to restrict access to authorised personnel only.
