Each stair tread cover features white or yellow nosing. Yellow is used on the first and last treads of a flight to signify a change in level to/from a walkway/landing, with white used on all intermediate steps.

Our non slip stair tread covers are made from ultra-strong GRP, which is lightweight, non-corroding and highly durable. The stair covers are designed to maintain a permanent highlighted edge colour for each individual step. This not only improves visibility and safety but eliminates the need for the manual painting of step edges.

As the nosing component of any tread takes the greatest wear in use, our anti slip stair treads can be fitted with replaceable nosing. This is offered as an option to further extend the lifespan of the stair grips.

Prefabricated sections of the stair covers are cut and assembled to specified measurements. They are then delivered to site for rapid installation. The ease of fitting means there is low labour costs and limited disruption to pedestrians who require use of the staircase. We offer full on-site consultation and fitting services throughout the UK.

Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) anti slip covers will not rust or rot, nor will they need painting. This is because the colour is consistent through the depth of the stair tread. What’s more, our non slip stair tread covers are easy to clean and require little or no maintenance during their lifespan. With a medium acquisition and low life-cycle cost, this solution represents excellent value for money. Plus, should substantial damage occur to components, the modular construction allows for rapid and low-cost repair.
