SummaryThe re-development of a University Student Village included the construction of a new raised sports pitch. Access to the pitch was gained via two sets of stairs and a large ramp with landings, all made from pre-cast concrete sections. These surfaces needed covering with an anti-slip surface for safe all-weather access.
After meetings with the project manager and architects it was agreed that our Bespoke anti-slip walkway sheets, stair tread covers and surface mounted tactile paving would provide the best solution to the requirements. We were able to manufacture the materials to the required RAL colours and finishes, in-keeping with the aesthetics and architect’s vision for the project.
The Fibreglass products were bonded to the concrete using a combination of epoxy and polyurethane adhesives and stainless steel screws with plugs. Manufacturing offsite to drawings meant that only a small amount of cutting and notching was done on site to achieve the fit.

Collections of orders from our workshops are possible, by prior arrangement only please and visitors are reminded to observe the standard 2m distancing rules, for the safety of all.
Our transport partners are all providing us with a normal service.
