Lozenge Platform Edge On Street (LRT)

The lozenge surface provides a warning to visually impaired people that they are approaching the edge of an on-street light rapid transit (LRT) platform. The surface is therefore an essential safety feature for this group of road users, where it is now possible for pedestrians to encounter a platform edge whilst walking along a footway.
